The Parambil team brings together deep clinical and statistical expertise with cutting-edge technology. Among our founding members are a former McKinsey and QuantumBlack product lead, the former Head of Medicine at both Yale and Stanford, and a data scientist from a leading fintech company.

What You Bring

• 2+ years building and operating data pipelines in production (Python a must; Spark or Pandas at scale a plus).
• Deep experience wrangling unstructured data (PDFs, images, free-text).
• Hands-on with NLP techniques: tokenization, embeddings, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation metrics (BLEU, ROUGE, BERTScore).
• Proven ability to design tests for AI/LLM workflows – unit, integration, adversarial, and offline evaluation suites.
• Strong AWS skills: S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, ECS/EKS
• Comfort with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline) and infra-as-code (Terraform, CDK).
• Excellent communication; you translate complex data concepts for cross-functional partners.

Preferred Experience

• Medical data expertise – familiarity with EHR schemas, HL7/FHIR, ICD-10, and HIPAA-compliant data handling.
• Experience with LangChain, vector databases (pgvector, Qdrant, OpenSearch).
• Background in healthcare or legal data compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Frontend Experience in building MVPs of products

Compensation:

• $100K-$120K + equity
