Position : Bookkeeper

Working Schedule : 8a-5p CST

Salary Range :$1200-$1500 / month (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The Bookkeeper will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Tasks:

• Logging daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, invoices, and payments)
• Tracking outstanding invoices and ensuring timely payments
• Processing vendor payments and managing bills
• Following up on overdue payments from customers
• Managing Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Bank Reconciliation
• Preparing Financial Reports
• Payroll Processing
• Maintaining General Ledger
• Assisting with Tax Preparation
• Issuing Per Diem

Admin Tasks:

• Book and change flights, hotels, and rental cars for crews as needed
• Send documentation to customers such as insurance, SDS Sheets, JHA's, SOPs, and safety documentation
• Manage and track inventory
• Ordering supplies and equipment
• Shipping chemicals and equipment
• Ordering Chemicals
• Requesting Certificates of Liability Insurance from the insurance company
• Scheduling of the technician's safety training
• Keeping track of inventory
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other related bookkeeping software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices
• Familiarity with financial forecasting and budgeting
