Join Our Team as a Full or Part-Time CPA!
Are you a passionate CPA looking for a dynamic role with flexible working options? We're excited to invite a dedicated professional to join our team! This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from home, with occasional in-office days (1-2 times per week). There's also potential for this role to transition to a fully remote position over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Services:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in line with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Tax Services:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Offer tax planning and advisory services tailored to clients' needs.
Client Management:
- Build and nurture strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and addressing their accounting and tax-related needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their financial goals and offer customized solutions.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including timely and accurate filing of required documents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay updated with industry standards and practices.
Qualifications:
- CPA license is required.
- At least one year of experience in accounting and tax preparation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setting.
