About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Risk & Claims Officer & Senior Vice President, Private Client to play a pivotal role in the long-term strategic and operational success of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing the vision, long-term strategy, and tactical execution plans for the private client group's loss prevention and claims. This includes a strong focus on customer experience, operational excellence, risk management, carrier relations, and technology. The role demands a leader with broad strategic thinking, strong execution capabilities, and the ability to influence and create structure within a dynamic and evolving environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the insurance industry, with a background in property and casualty, risk management, life and health insurance, and bank-related insurance products. The role requires a candidate with a high degree of business acumen, and a legal background is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of industry knowledge, experience in managing and developing teams, and the ability to engage with external industry leaders to drive policy and practice changes. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and active participation in business groups that promote claims excellence. The role is highly visible, demanding effective stakeholder management, and the ability to work across the organization to ensure strategic alignment.
