Key Responsibilities:
Lead Risk Management Strategy: Develop and drive a comprehensive risk management strategy that supports our business objectives and meets regulatory standards.
Enterprise Risk Oversight: Take charge of identifying, assessing, and managing risks across the organization, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
Policy & Procedure Development: Create and maintain policies, procedures, and controls that effectively mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance to senior leadership and the board on all matters related to risk, helping them navigate complex challenges with confidence.
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire the risk management team, encouraging a proactive approach to risk and continuous improvement.
Risk Monitoring & Analysis: Keep a close eye on risk trends and emerging issues, adjusting strategies as needed to stay ahead of potential challenges.
Integration with Business Processes: Ensure that risk management is woven into the fabric of our business processes and decision-making at every level.
Audit & Compliance Oversight: Oversee risk-related audits, investigations, and reviews, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present clear, concise risk management reports and updates to senior leaders and the board.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization, including compliance, legal, and finance, to strengthen our overall risk management efforts.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus!
Experience: A strong track record in risk management, with significant experience in senior leadership and strategic planning roles.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to create and implement effective risk management strategies that align with business goals.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities with a knack for making sound decisions under pressure.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives, the board of directors, and external partners.
Certifications: Relevant certifications like Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) are a plus.
