IDR is seeking a Clinical Documentation Specialist to join one of our top clients for this remote position. This role is perfect for individuals with a medical degree or RN license and experience in clinical documentation. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Clinical Documentation Specialist - REMOTE:

 

  • Conducting concurrent medical record reviews

  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals

  • Ensuring compliance with MS-DRG classification and CMS regulations

  • This is a 6-month contract with potential for permanent placement

Required Skills for Clinical Documentation Specialist - REMOTE:

 

  • Medical degree (IMG) or RN license

  • Minimum of 2-3 years as a Clinical Documentation Specialist

  • Experience with OBGYN, Pediatrics, or Inpatient Psychiatry is preferred

  • Quality-based reviews, mortality reviews, and risk adjustment tool experience

  • CCDS or CCDIP certification

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
