Job Description

Title: Alteryx & Tableau Data Analyst

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 6 months+

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Work with the team on the review of existing Tableau sites and projects
Work with staff to consume refreshed data and update the Tableau server and visualizations
Work with staff to build Alteryx workflows to create data sources for Tableau dashboards
Tableau, Altery, SharePoint, MS SQL, and Oracle integration
Designs, develops, and maintains professional customer-facing dashboards in Tableau server using various reproducible data sources, views, calculations, and parameters.
Balance the use of standard reporting templates and metrics with the creative use of those templates and metrics to create compelling client narratives.

Required Experience:

5+ years of experience serving on an Analytics team required
5+ years of experience developing and supporting Tableau Desktop
10+ years of experience in mining data leveraging SQL (SQL Server and Oracle)
10+ years of experience in understanding and interpreting data to develop relevant and insightful visualizations
10+ years of experience in demonstrating statistical, analytical, and writing skills
5+ years of very strong experience soliciting, documenting, and communicating user requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience using Alteryx and Python
3+ years of experience around documentation of standards, best practices, and governance as it relates to Alteryx, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and BusinessObjects (BOBJ)
3+ years of experience in data warehouse environment, ETL development, monitor and optimize ETL processes.
3+ years of experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics needs

Preferred:

3+ years of recent hands-on experience with data in a PeopleSoft HRMS package
3+ years of recent hands-on experience with data in a PeopleSoft Financials
package
3+ years of recent hands-on experience with various types of HIPAA data
