Leading label printing and converting manufacturer in NJ is busy. Due to growth, the company is searching to hire an experienced Label Production Manager for 1st shift.
Responsibilities include:

• Accountable for the supervision of 15 - 20 production employees in a busy narrow web flexographic printing operation, including all supporting equipment in converting, rewinding, and inspection areas.
• Supervise the efficient operation of all equipment.
• Use KPI's and metrics to maximize performance and minimize waste.
• Ensure accurate reporting of time and material consumption.
• Support the hiring, developing, training, and reviewing of all production employees.
• Promote safe working practices and procedures.
• Responsible for scheduling jobs and maintaining the quality produced in all operations.
• Ensure that the level of quality meets or exceeds the customer requirements.

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ supervisory or management experience in Flexographic Label printing and converting operations.
• Proven track record using KPI's and metrics to improve production efficiencies and reduce waste. "Numbers person".
• Experience using Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing Practices in a print manufacturing environment to improve processes continually producing quality products on time.
• Excellent decision making skills.
• Strong leadership experience.
• Strong employee mentoring and training skills.
• Excellent communication skills are required..

Starting salary range $80,000 - $100,000 + benefits, 401k and relocation pkg.
