Job Description 

gateB is seeking a versatile and quick-learning Front-End Web Developer to join our collaborative team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will contribute to the engineering, development, enhancement, documentation, and support of web-based solutions tailored to address the diverse marketing operations and analytics challenges faced by gateB clients. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Translate front-end specifications with varying degrees of detail to functional component-based applications. 

• Review and assess functional specifications to estimate complexity and potential implementation challenges. 

• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic. 

• Assist in troubleshooting, documenting, and resolving issues in existing client applications. 

• Ensure applications and components are developed following responsiveness, security, cross-platform support, and performance scalability best practices. 

• Implement integrations into clients' existing environments using APIs or third-party components. 

• Continuously learn and explore new technologies and frameworks to improve skills and stay current in the field. 

• Document code, processes, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a comprehensive record of the project. 

Qualifications & Personal Attributes 

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. 

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience is required. 

• Proficiency in a range of technologies, including: 

• CSS3/SCSS/Tailwind CSS 

• Javascript ES6+ and Front-end frameworks: Vue.js / AngularJS / ReactJS 

• Native Web Component Development 

• SOAP/REST/GraphQL APIs and asyncronous logic 

• Version Control and CI/CD: Github 

• Component documentation frameworks: Storybook 

• Test frameworks: Jest / Mocha / Chai 

• Build Tools: Webpack / Gulp / npm for automation and task management 

• Strong understanding of web security and system performance best practices. 

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Self-motivated professional with a proactive approach, a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline. 

• The highest levels of professional character, integrity, and ethics. 

Other Nice-to-Have Skills: 

• Familiarity with Sitecore Content Hub, censhare, Adobe Workfront, Aprimo, or Magnolia CMS. 

• Full-stack development experience utilizing node.js, python, java or .net framework. 

• Experience in DevOps and Cloud Development, particularly in AWS and MS Azure.
