Job Details Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and supporting various litigation processes.
- Review, negotiate, draft, and revise commercial contracts, including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, procurement agreements, and more.
- Handle real property transactions, including leases.
- Manage the intake of contract requests and conduct internal client interviews to understand issues and provide advice on best practices.
- Maintain strong business relationships with internal groups requiring legal support.
- Keep the legal department informed of significant developments in a timely manner, using sound business and legal judgment.
- Exhibit leadership and teamwork skills to foster a collaborative environment.
- Provide legal support in specific areas as directed by the General Counsel.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all tasks.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the legal field.
- Familiarity with a variety of legal documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective at building rapport with clients.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must hold a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and have passed the California State Bar Examination.
- A minimum of two (2) years of work experience prior to attending law school, with a preference for candidates with litigation support experience.
