Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization\'s IT operations and manage our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Cisco Meraki, Reynolds and Reynolds DMS, and Google Workspace. The IT Manager will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and providing strategic direction to improve efficiency and security. This role requires exceptional people skills, communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Management:
o Oversee and manage the company\'s IT infrastructure, including network, hardware, software, and security systems.
o Maintain and optimize the Cisco Meraki network environment.
o Ensure the reliability and performance of Reynolds and Reynolds systems.
o Administer and manage Google Workspace, including user accounts, security settings, and collaboration tools.

Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
o Assign tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
o Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Project Management:
o Manage multiple IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
o Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
o Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Troubleshooting and Support:
o Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues.
o Implement and maintain IT support processes to ensure timely resolution of user issues.
o Monitor and respond to IT incidents, minimizing downtime and disruption.

Strategic Planning:
o Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization\'s business goals.
o Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and security.

Communication and Collaboration:
o Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including executive management, to report on IT activities and project status.
o Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Work Environment

Work environment will be largely a car dealership environment. Regular travel between 6 dealership locations is to be expected. There are 5 dealerships very close to each other and the 6th dealership is about a 20 minute drive in Rome, NY.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
• Proven experience with Cisco Meraki, Reynolds and Reynolds, and Google Workspace.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Google, Okta) are a plus.
