Material Handler Lead Responsibilities:

· Supervise and direct stocking activities and MRP transactions of materials, received and issued

· Provide work direction and monitor daily performance of the Stockroom Team by assigning daily tasks and duties, continually rotating staff responsibilities.

· Assist Material Handlers with troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and issues

· Maintain on-time issuing of Job Order Kits as they come available to be completed by monitoring the MRP system.

· Release Job Orders in accordance with MRP Requirements

· Close JO’s, as required.

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Picking, Kitting, & Verification of manufacturing orders
• Ensures that materials are properly packaged or repackaged per required special handling specifications, when necessary, in electrostatic bags or as otherwise specified. Labels and stocks in specified bins or fills back-order requirements, both for the assembly floor or kits in process.
• Delivers completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material to designated areas and if required, releases to work-in-process (WIP).
• Receiving shipments, accurately verifying transactions and stocking inventory in correct locations
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
• Accurate accounting of inventory and resolution of discrepancies
• Performs cycle count audits and physical inventories
• Working knowledge and skills with ERP systems (Made2Manage) and (Gmail, Docs, Spreadsheets)
• Communication with other departmental representatives on inventory issues/tasks related to Production

• 12+ months of related experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment with inventory knowledge.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience desired
• Experience in using warehouse equipment (Kardex, weight scale)
• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to occasionally work overtime.
