We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in the Manufacturing industry, located in Newark, New Jersey. As an Office Assistant, you will be trained on various office functions such as shipping, purchasing, receiving, and other general office tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process claims for lost or damaged packages with UPS.
• Provide support in order entry and contract review.
• Regularly maintain and update data entry in ERP.
• Assist in the purchase and organization of office supplies.
• Handle inbound calls, provide customer service, and efficiently transfer calls when necessary.
• Conduct weekly reporting on order shipment.
• Provide ad hoc clerical support as required.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.
• Monitor and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Print UPS labels as required.• Possess proficiency in CRM software to manage customer interactions and data effectively.
• Capability to respond promptly and professionally to all incoming queries, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Experience in handling inbound calls in a high-volume setting, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
• Proficient in executing billing functions accurately and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and document management, showcasing excellent organisational skills.
