Summary :
The Temple University Libraries seeks a motivated Project Assistant to participate as a member of the Health Science Library's Research, Education, and Outreach services team. The Garfield-Taylor Project Assistant offers pre-professional experience in providing services supporting instruction, outreach, collections, and reference services. Collaborates with experienced and supportive information professionals to administer first-rate library services, develop peer relationships, and explore a future career in academic health sciences librarianship. Projects may include participating in the systematic review search service, supporting instruction, developing online library guides, curating data in Temple's institutional repository, and contributing to library outreach efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.
Project Assistant can expect to improve their skills navigating health sciences databases, providing reference services, managing projects, working collaboratively, providing instruction, and managing research data. This is a 1-year hybrid position, up to 19 hours per week during weekday business hours.

Required Education & Experience:
Current graduate student in an ALA accredited library or information science program.
Required Skills & Abilities:

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
