Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge medicine — private medicine — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team. Based in California, New York, and Florida our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctor, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide relationship focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members/patients and their families. About the role:

You will work within a high-quality, highly communicative/collaborative, and team-based architecture to oversee the comprehensive health and well-being of patients. Physicians will participate in regular huddles with their team to proactively identify health care issues and orchestrate a plan of care with the support of their team and the support of an entire organization.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain long term relationships with patients
• Be available after-hours for patient communication and care
• Provide well child checks and house calls
• Help the child and family navigate through each phase of childhood
• Track and review normal physical development as well as psychological behaviors
• Collaborate with a PM Naturopathic Doctor to provide lifestyle-based naturopathic care
• Continue to build upon an existing network of top specialists
• Prescribe and manage medications when needed
• Manage acute illness and injuries
• Establish outstanding relationships with and lead a team of a Registered Nurse and Patient Care Administrator
• Create personalized reports for patients to help them and the team navigate their health goals and care

Qualifications:

• Education level: Graduate of 4-year, accredited medical school. Completion of a Medicine-Pediatric (preferred), Pediatric, or Family Medicine residency program.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years as a licensed physician with a focus in pediatrics and strong skills in caring for ages 0-12 as well as other age groups. Preference for prior experience in a continuity-based practice.

License & certifications:

• Licensed physician in the state of open opportunity (CA, NY or FL)
• Board Certification: American Board of Pediatrics certification or the American Board of Family Medicine
• Current DEA and BLS certification

Skills we're looking for:

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced computer literacy, primarily with Apple products/iOS
• Experience with EHR-based medical record keeping
