The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between Goshen Health and referring healthcare providers and their practices, thus generating a referral stream of new patients to Goshen Health. In addition to promoting Goshen Health and key lines of service to physicians and non-physician referral sources, the Liaison is responsible for gathering information which will assist the organization in the achievement of its goal of service excellence and fiscal vitality. The Physician Liaison, reporting to the Director of Marketing, is an integral part of the overall physician relations function for Goshen Health working together to position the organization as the leader in the delivery of quality healthcare services.

Position Qualifications

• Skills:
  • Requires computer skills in word processing, presentation and sales contact management programs
  • Requires excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Individual should be highly self-motivated and achievement oriented
  • Prefer previous experience dealing with physicians
  • Prefer sales experience within healthcare, with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Individual should be comfortable with a high degree of people interaction
• Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Health Sciences
• Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Health Sciences
• Minimum Experience: Two years of successful direct sales experience in related fields within a health care or pharmaceutical/medical device corporation.
