Our client is seeking an experienced Large Format Printer Operator to join their team.

Schedule:  8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Starting Rate : $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Printer Operator Job Duties:

• Create print-ready artwork for large format printing from proofs in accordance with customer specifications
• Print standard product stock prints as well as custom prints for daily production
• Edit and re-create customer files for print compatibility
• Vector images such as logos and symbols
• Ensure proof design files are error free and signed off by customer
• Reading production paperwork and readying the appropriate raw materials for print to ensure on-time delivery, safety and quality standards are met
• Perform quality check for stock and custom prints as needed
• Oversee Safety, Quality, and Productivity of other Graphic Designers and Laminator Operators
• Oversee the Preventive Maintenance Activities for all print and laminate equipment
• Interact with sales department/customer service regarding print orders

Printer Operator Skills & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 4+ years of previous graphic design experience required
• 4+ Years experience with adobe creative suite required
• 4+ Years experience with inkjet print (Mutoh, Mimaki and dye sublimation printers) required
• Online portfolio of related work
• Experience with FlexiSign is a plus
• Experience with other machines used in print production (laminator, plotter cutter, XY cutter) is a plus
• Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
• Organizational, problem solving and time management skills
• Ability to lift/move 50lbs
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen
