This position reports to
Production Supervisor - System Drives
Your role and responsibilities
Assemble products by following Engineering documents, schematics and layout drawings, Operate computer to check schedules, update manufacturing status of jobs Determine wire routing, cut, strip, label, crimp and terminate wire and secure bundles in accordance with engineering documentation. Layout cabinets, determining locations of components, wire and duct runs Select proper hardware, and as necessary, drill, tap, punch, cut to mount components in cabinets and on panels Assist in the training of other employees, addressing and resolving inquiries and problems Perform material handling activities as required Review assembly processes and methods and recommend changes to ensure the continuous, ongoing improvement of productivity and quality Interface with engineering to accurately communicate information Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, reject tickets, etc The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite
Qualifications for the role
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and Minimum 1 year of related manufacturing / shop floor assembly experience required
- Ability to read and comprehend English assembly instructions, assembly drawings, and procedure manuals
- Ability to interpret and assemble off of wiring schematics and mechanical layout drawings
- Ability to communicate one on one with other employees of the organization
- Requires ability to operate a wide variety of small hand and power tools, wire strippers, crimping tools, soldering tools, hand taps and punches, hand trucks, heat guns, a variety of precision measuring devices, a computer and keyboard, etc
