Job DescriptionThe Officer reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Patrols assigned areas of hospital properties, enforces and maintains visitor control, investigates all complaints of a security and safety nature, escorts employees and visitors as needed, monitors the hospitals alarm systems and closed circuit television (CCTV) screens when needed, dispatches Public Safety staff as needed and/or notifies appropriate hospital personnel as necessary. Actively promotes a safe and secure environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
This position is full-time, 80 hours per pay period, rotating shift with alternating weekends and holidays.
