Facility in Anderson, SC seeking Rheumatology locums coverage Rates: $250/hr Job Overview:

• Position: Rheumatologist.
• Start Date: Onboarding ASAP for future coverage; maternity leave coverage starting February.
• Practice Setting: Office/Clinic-based.

Key Details:

• Schedule:
• Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
• Patient Volume: 15-20 patients/day.
• Patient Demographic: Adult (100% Arthritis/Autoimmune cases).
• Support Staff:
• 1 Nurse Practitioner.
• 2 CMAs.
• 1 Front Desk Staff.
• EMR: Epic.
• Exam Rooms: 6.
• Current Rheumatologists: 1.

Required Procedures:

• Joint Injections:
• Hyalgan.
• Supartz.
• Corticosteroids.

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Rheumatology: Required.
• Active South Carolina Medical License: Required.
• Certifications: BLS Required.
• Experience: No new graduates; must have significant clinical experience, strong ratings, and robust training.
• Background: 100% clean background preferred; minor malpractice incidents may be considered.
