Security Officer - Part Time

Location: Kansas City, KS

Position type(s): Part-time

Pay Rate: $17.00 hr.

Shifts/availability:
Monday - Friday: all shifts working 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm (nights/part-time)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Inside and outside foot patrols of client property once per hour.
• Access control responsibilities (multiple access points) including badge checking
• Ensure no one is trespassing on client property after business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• At least 18 years of age as required by contractual requirements.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Security, Military, and Law Enforcement experience is welcomed but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• KCKS security license (we will help to obtain if needed during our hiring process).
