Gridiron IT is seeking 2 Call Center Representatives to work an overnight shift on a remote basis. Location: Remote
Clearance: Minimum Public Trust
Overview We are looking for remote entry-level customer service agents to provide overnight help desk support to our customer. No technical experience necessary, however, we are looking for positive, driven individuals who are willing to be trained and committed to this position.
Responsibilities - You will be responsible for providing one-on-one technical support via phone to the customer using our computer network and workstations quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Research customer issues to answer and respond to inquiries; determine complexity of inquiry and if it should be escalated in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate active listening skills while providing courtesy, patience and professionalism.
- Identifies and reports unusual or repetitive inquiries, complaints or areas of misinformation to agent leads and supervisors.
- Creates a record of the type of contact in the Remedy ticketing system.
- Training Provided:
- Helpdesk support via phone and through our ticketing system, for most issues related to desktop software, hardware, and peripherals.
- With this training, you will learn to self-manage a steady workflow effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications - Ability to attend training during the day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST M-F) for the first 30 days.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
- Customer service experience is required (e.g., any school or professional experience working with people).
- This position relies on your 100% attention and commitment during working hours, quite work environment is a must.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Call center experience and technical support experience is desirable.
- Ability to work overnight supporting 10-hour days, weekends are required.
- Reliable internet connectivity with 150 Mbps+ upload (e.g., no satellite, hotspot, etc.).
