1st shift - Entry Level Welder $20-21 - Kent, OH *Will take from trade school*

Responsibilities

• Assemble and weld aluminum and stainless steel trailers and subassemblies.
• Layout and position parts according to specifications.
• Weld in various positions such as flat, horizontal, overhead, and vertical.
• Interpret blueprints for welding projects.
• Perform MIG welding on aluminum.
• Work at heights up to 15 feet and in confined spaces as necessary.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding on aluminum.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Skill in using tape measures (testing required).
• Ability to pass a weld test involving horizontal, vertical, and overhead passes on aluminum plates.
• Capability to crawl under trucks, weld on backs, and climb on trailers.
• Welding certifications if lacking field experience; willingness to accept candidates straight from career centers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
